Do you find safety game is boring in a match?

no I agree with you - but noting wrong trying a few things out in the odd event like the shoot out to try and spice it up.

I am of the old school view that it is good as it is but would like to see a return to longer frame formats.

I would prefer the game not to be changed. There is nothing wrong with it.

I felt the same way before this damn miss rule was introduced, and now it's being exploited all the time just as MB says by players having many free goes at the most difficult escape route that would leave it safe and by using the rule as a means of gaining points with the easy roll up.

Frames are being dragged out by those without the balls to take the option of putting the other bloke back in or taking on the half chance that's been left them.

Judd Trump's safety against Gould in the semis last week was one of the best Ive seen. Reason why he come back with 5 on the bounce.

Reardon and Davis best safety players, imo, no. The game has moved on in all aspects.
