Trump is already underachieving and no longer has the excuse of extreme youth or lack of experience. Why would you want to copy that? Surely it would make more sense to copy a rock-solid, easily repeatable action that didn't rely on spot-on timing that can break down under pressure. Particularly when most of us have limited natural talent and can't practise eight hours a day in ideal playing conditions.

Why isn't the Trump technique and Set-up now the Textbook Standard?

I'm still waiting to see you do my challenges on video, 2mths and counting..............
I've never said I do any of your, or anyone else's challenges, on here so your second point is moot.
Like I said, £50 if you provide a video by Sunday.
Introduce yourself, play the shot, prove me wrong. If you do I'll give £50 to charity and I'll post a total apology to you on here. ADR is also getting in on the action, so a charity is going to get a fair sum because of you. Win.
Don't produce a video..... you'll just be the mouthpiece that I think you are.#jeSuisMasterBlasterBarryWhite2v1977Luclex(andHisF ictiousTwin)BigSplash!

Not that I'm putting my money on it, but I'm pretty sure my practise partner does it regularly! I certainly wouldn't be wagering it can't be done...---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

come on master blagger, get the vid up, and on a super fast cloth the best i have seen ever is around 18 foot, but why bother its a useless shot to even bother trying or practicing unless you arent very good at positional play and going to end up on the trick shot tour on a 9 ball table

I have a light cueball here which came with my original (used) set of Pro Cup balls. I noticed it right away and weighed it at 117gms. With that cueball and placing the cueball about 1ft behind the green and off straight and with a fairly new 6811 Club cloth which is a decent speed I can still only get down to the top cushion and maybe back up to just short of the blue spot near the side cushion.
I would love to see a video of someone actually screwing the cueball 24ft with a sworn affidavit the cueball was weighed at 141gm.
I have seen some pretty wild videos of super screw shots but I was always suspicious of a light white since the player had nothing special in his technique. To me more impressive is a long shot cued from baulk with the object ball about 2ft from a top pocket and screwing in and out of baulk. I have seen that one done on a TV table (by Neil Robertson I think) but as has been said it's not done in a normal frame because the player can screw up into baulk for the safety or just short for the position. I think Neil actually over-hit that shot unintentionally.Terry Davidson
