Thinking of sending my lad off for a week at the end of August...

Has anyone on here any experience of what he'd be in for?

Been there a few times for some practice but not for any coaching. The facilities there are really good. I know Keith who runs it & he's a good guy. I've chatted to a few players who go there for several weeks & they love it. I'd imagine it would be a really good experience for your lad.

yeah i go regular, there . great place top quality tables .

Keith and Garry who run the place or great guys. Garry is a coach who has given me some coaching and is very good, plus there are other coaches that come in to the academy either for a few days or for specific coaching at the moment there is an old guy from Australia who is a coach and is staying over the summer, he's got some stories to tell.

i know Alan Trigg use to come over each summer to coach the kids for the junior academy school , maybe he will be running it again i don't know, i could find out if you like.

i took my kid for a couple weeks a few years ago. he loved it, i'm sure your kid will too.

maybe ill bump into you when you are there and we could have a couple of frames, well lets say you can have a ball boy for a few frames ....lol

yeah that will be good, i usually go every Wednesday and the odd Sunday. i might be able to make that Sunday, ill let you know closer to that date.
