What a welcoming place... He was straight on the tables and played all day pretty much...

Even managed a few frames myself against prospects, coaches and forum gent 'Alabadi'

Glad I made the trip for sure.

Haha... Literally just called you out on the other thread...

To be honest, I found the tables varied... Played on four of em... Lovely space and feel to the room though... Genuine atmosphere.

Sounds like you both had a great day mate. Were there plenty of other lads Luke's age for him to have a knock with?

That will be great for him, the coaching will help loads but mixing with the kids and learning to enjoy his snooker and have a laugh will stand him in good stead. He'll be beating you soon lol.

That's the plan... Just hope the competition can help him learn to focus.

Thanks Yusef... To be honest, I felt a bit guilty that I didn't approach top form... Should really have converted that ton chance.

Had a 70 clr vs Luke

Had 91 in the only frame I won against some young lad there...

Started off with a forty odd and missed an easy blue and he mopped up in the first frame... Then battered me in the next two before I took the fourth.

Had a couple of 40's against some coach from Latvia... Lovely bloke but wasn't the best player in fairness.

Had (something? 60 or so?) against Yusef with 5 reds left... Worked bloody hard for that break and switched off and lost the white

Didn't finish work til 05:30 this morning so I did ok... Alabadi knocked in some wonder shots against me... One obscene cut back from nowhere.
