    blinker.
I started playing once a week when I was 7/8 years old just locally with my Dad. I could pot a ball and had a natural eye for the game (probably from my Dad who's a century break player). I can't remember exactly but I know I had my first 50 by the time I was 14/15 and played my first local league match at 16. I've put a lot of practice in since then to get to the stage where century breaks have been made and i'm now local champ but i'm far from happy with my game and am still hoping to improve further.

In terms of progress it has been very gradual for me but my coaching a year ago helped massively. It gave me confidence more than anything and reassured me that what I had self taught over the years was actually pretty good!

Like you say it can be a struggle to pot a few in a row and other times you can have 40s. I guess consistency is the biggest issue for us all as we are amateurs at the end of the day!
