some nice stuff from judd in this video, times the white so well. interesting to watch how much he follows through after contacting the white an how much movement he creates. its timing, an more often than not less is more

I can do this matchbox (punctured chalk case for me lol) drill easily on a work desk with no balls in sight. But on a real table, I strike the ball very differently. Elbow drop on follow through of course. It just suits me much better. Cue drops down from chin on finish position by a few centimetres at least.
I know there are a million ways to time the ball well.

Is this work desk as high as snooker table ?? I can imagine if you use this stuff, you have to put it somewhere as high as snooker table ,, otherwise you gonna mess up with ur stand / cue action and that kind of stuff !!
Or that does'nt matter at all ????

with time i found i was able to to get my cue-action to look very similar to the work i was doing on the table, and the training i was doing at home with tuca
though on some power shots the cue still comes under my chest, but now its done with more accurate control, keeping the cue parallel and without collapsing on the shot

You could always stack books, even simulate a cushion with one extra book.

Hello, I've been lurking around here for a while now and have benefitted from all the abundant advice on this forum. I'm still a very poor player but feel it's a better quality of poor. The lovely video of J6uk cueing along the baulk line struck a particular chord with me and has finally prompted me to express my gratitude. So, thanks to one and all.

Three and a half years of lurking, that's some impressive lurking right there (taps the table)
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head
