Firstly, me telling him to pot 21 balls in any order until he can clear them all is one of the BEGINNER routines on the Ding Junhui snooker training app. I urge you to download it, you might learn something.

Secondly, I find it outrageous that you are constantly attacking a new member on this forum without reprimand.

Thirdly, please take whatever proof you think you have to ferret and he will decide to ban me or not. If he feels the same way as you then fair enough. If I get banned because some imbecile sits in front of his computer and make random comments on threads that are nothing to do with him, then so be it.

You can post whatever info you have but I guarantee I have never had another account on this forum. I'm sure you have already contacted ferret and I am still in here. What does that tell you?

Now, I will not post anything to you again. I am a mature adult and won't bother with childish internet arguments. Haha I can't believe I'm even writing this. I'm actually belly laughing at how obsurd this whole episode is.

      simple proof....

you claim not to be '2v1977' a banned user of this very forum....

in this thread: you asked about how to upload an image to a post: http://www.thesnookerforum.co.uk/boa...d-review/page2

you were duly told how to do it... and your post, #18 in the discussion thread, was an imaged embedded from your photobucket account.

the link to said image was: http://s482.photobucket.com/user/2v1...dfxlq.jpg.html

look at the username of the photobucket account: '2v1977'

ahem... a 1 in a billion chance you happen to have a photobucket account with the same, pretty unique, name of a banned user? Or the fact that you're a bizarre numpty who likes creating multiple accounts on snooker forums and then pretending to be someone else.

No attack, just pretty much proving you to be an ickle fibber.

      Thanks xx

If I was you I would not just practice on the table potting balls - I would practice straight cuing on the baulk line and off it at home - get the cue out in front of a mirror and get a matchbox or training aid or something and cue through it trying to get everything consistent still and straight

I would try and get my stance, bridge, contact points and cue delivery right before and after the shot staying consistent with your timing and delivery on each type of shot imagined with or without power.

My reason for saying this is because if you practice on a table potting balls you are perhaps potting balls with bad technique which will annoy you until you get it right so that's why I think it better to get your technique right and then take it to the table - I see it as two separate things practice potting balls and practice technique training.

Some people get it - snooker - right away to a certain extent and it is possible to get decent without too much technique practice on the table by repetition but these types are a little more natural.

Many players learning the game also tend to skip the basics and go straight on a table just potting balls for practice then try and correct things on the table - it is possible just to do this but I think it helps tremendously to work on your game technically off it if you are serious about improving faster.

It is a lot of leg work but as a golfer practices his swing so should a snooker player/ Developing a good consistent pre-shot routine is a vital aspect to improving I think.

Following this I would do lots of routines - probably using the Ding coaching ap which is free to download on I phone or another ap like the Nik Barrow one which is very good and inexpensive - set yourself targets to improve and beat and use those two hours to focus properly on routines avoiding just knocking balls about.

              That's my advice anyway ....

              Good luck

LucLex, some good advice and useful routines for learning the game. Maybe you could help on the Les Edwards coaching thread. Some good routines are on there that might help Var1234 as well.

Thanks luclex and everyone, very good practice routine and i borrow a old iphone just for ding app. Shame it is not avaliable on android.

I can feel the improvment, one more question during the practice.

After get down to the shot, avoid body movement or aim, just keep cueing straight. This is what i believe for years.

When i go practice today, after getting down, feather one or two with just focusing on cue ball, when i look to the red, it is not hitting the point i would like to, i made adjustment and the red goes in.

Is this normal, do u guys check this when after u get down?

I guess i have some technical fault when getting down..

I don't know if you know about this but it helped me when I discovered I have a left dominant eye and sighting the cue with my dominant eye directly above really helped my game progress. Before I had been sighting with my chin on the cue.
