During our competition we have to play on different tables. With different kinds of cloth (Some fast, some slow) different size pockets and different cushion bounces.
Yesterday we had to play tables with a very slow cloth and bouncy cushions. This threw me off my game completely. I wasn't able to play any decent safeties involving cushions and my pace was completely off which left a lot of the OBs in front of the pocket for my oponent to drop in. Seriously it was like playing in mud.
So question is : how do you handle these kind of situations? Part of the solution will be experience of playing on different tables, but are there any tips or techniques you can share on how to get back in the game.
