Wow , No I didn't know that. Last game I played was ultimate doom.

After that it was all too much about the graphics and how close to real life the games were.

I mean what is the point of a golf computer game where you actually have to be good at golf, to play it ?

I can see how the injury could help you focus more on your grip and as it's such an important component spending time on grip and delivery can lead to drastic improvement in consistency. I have a simple rule where the thumb and index finger form a solid weld around the cue and everything else remains loose. The other fingers will rest lightly on the base but not so much that they cause movement of the cue when striking the cue ball.

How do you mean the thumb and index finger form a solid weld around the cue?
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

I remember a mate of mine playing with a cast on his broken wrist, knocking in a 60 odd break in a league match. He was cast up to his knuckles so his thumb and fingers were sticking out of the plaster and he could hold the cue, couldn't move his wrist though and it made a difference.
Maybe one of those strappy thingies they use today would be of benefit ?

i found that in my snooker this really helped!!! I was more focused on a lighter grip but more so on striking the cue ball using my arm muscles not my hand or wrist.
I found i had lots more power as i was pushing through the ball better, my aim was improved and i felt alot less tension in power screw shots, and could screw a follow through more with less effort!!!
Now my hand feels ten times better infection has gone, but im still play as if my hand was infected and i feel like im playing really well nOw i have no tension in my grip at all whatever the shot is, and its helped loads!!!
So thanks to my mean old naggy cat im playinG better snooker
            weird or what!
Woke up with a pulled shoulder muscle morning of a world championship match once.
Could hardly get down to shot for half an hour in practice.
Best I had ever played in the match!
