I've been practicing snooker now steadily for a year (mainly practicing.) But I tend to play the old guys at the club sometimes. I try to get at least an hour of snooker practice a day. And at first I was seeing improvement. Then I hit my highest break of 42 during a match. And then followed the next week with 35. I was very happy with myself. I started practicing more hours sometimes 4-5 hours a day. Always trying to get my cue action and delivery better. Aiming , sighting , stance , grip everything the internet could help me with. But now I think i've overdone my brain.
When I'm calculating an angle and getting down my mind is going crazy between aiming systems It goes something like this "Foot on line , watch out keep the left leg pointing straight , fu*k I should have used ghostball technique , am I holding the que right, Am I holding to tight. Is my bridge steady , is my bridge hand to close to the CB".
My main problem is aiming. 3/4 1/2 ... technique , ghostball technique or should I just make a line from my bellybutton to point of contact. Point is. Im fuc*ed.
What can I do? I want that century so I can die a happy man.
Ps I cant see a coach. It's just something that is not available here.
