Ur cue n elbow n shoulder r not in one line
take a look at steve davis cueing position u will get the idea.
The problem is with ur stance u need to bend ur left leg a bit more n twist ur hip towards left.
until its corrected u will b cueing excellent one day n on the other u will hate ur self 4 not playing well instead of putting so much effort.
U can ask Terry about it. He is a very helpful guy here.

I have been there when you think of every little aspect. In matches I think you need to focus on angles / playing the correct shots and be natural with your cue action. Whereas in practise, try things but also endure you feel 100% comfortable with what you are trying.

Once you start to think too much it leaves you less focuses on the aim of the game. It also bring in your sub conscious and sometimes negativity and tension which no snooker player can play well with.

A good example is golf - A pro golfer will work on their swing on the driving range, whereas on a course they go with what is natural to them.

Grip it - rip it - and enjoy

          A good way to describe

Thanks for all the comments its been a big help. The one thing at time, has helped me a lot. I have been practicing a lot one the followthrough these last days (putting the hours in).

The amount of follow through should that be consistent on everyshot , and the power of the shot determined on how long your backswing? Sometimes when I concentrate completly on my followtrough I think it tends to go around my body. Is this a common problem?
Should your grip hand hit your chest at the same spot everytime?
