so we set up some shots and every time i missed he said this is where i was aiming. so he put a red ball on the left edge of the leather and the cushion. and told me to aim for it.
it looked i was going to over cut the black every time , however they went in clean as a whistle. then he removed it and i started over-cutting it.
strange but frustrating that i can't see the angle or in other words can't line this up correctly
Hi Alabadi
Very good and classic example of what the 'Aim Frame' was designed for....
You would be a perfect candidate for the product

Yeah anyway I don't mean to disagree but I have seen a few change position Robertson for example sights under one eye on long shots as do I but centre chin rest of time and there will always be certain exceptions out there in the snooker world who do things slightly differently if consistent to their own set up.
I looked into sight right myself - got the ol cheese board in the cupboard somewhere collecting dust but got to admire anyone who gets a patient on a straight line- of course as an avid player I would sell my soul for an extra black. Sighting is strange because you can focus with either eye or both and the line appears different each time and as you said the chalk thing is not really a precise way to find your dominant or preferred eye because of how you stand and which eye you use to focus on the chalk with initially try it focusing with each eye first in turn then both. I just think sighting is habitual and your brain works it out naturally. So does your head if you keep missing.
Fred Davis thought his brother Joe had an advantage only having one good eye but sighting like snooker is a strange old thing.
Now cut to the chase again nic with a c empty yer garage out and flog me one of yer gadgets on the cheap mind and I will do you a honest review - beware though if its crap I will say so. Is it the plastic see thro ghost ball with the dial then?
That will be something I have not noticed if that is the case.
Perhaps then we can have a mass debate about it!
If it is crap I would like to hear about it.
But would love to hear a direct comparison between both.
I think Joe was at a disadvantage as he had much less depth perception which would make angled potting and posn play tougher.
The price is low, with a huge amount of bonus video included at no extra cost, so on the basis that it may give an extra TWO blacks on your game.... it would be cheap at twice the price!Improving Your Game, From Every Angle: The Snooker Gym

I can compare the both side by side but my articulate nature and humour is worth half the price of the thing you will no doubt sell me for double what it cost to make
I will be fair and will give an honest and detailed review and comparison with Mr Stevie Fees broken line- by the way two blacks would make my high break147 in a match so I will hold you to that.
Now is it the Ghost ball dial thing nic and how much are you flogging them at - your DVD bonus thing not really needed - but if it helps cure my insomnia go for it.
Some great long pots on here from the best long potters ever Williams Hendry Robertson Murphy n co bit of music too

In effect pushing the cue ball along the cushion - this magnifies any tiny centre ball error and gives you a chance to improve it as a result.
Tonight I was practicing straight pinks of the spot into the black bags trying to follow the white into the pocket . I'm way better doing it into one pocket and abismal into the other . Playing blues into the middle bag I'm almost 100% in following into or screwing into the opposite pocket .
I was shown a shot where you place the blue on its spot and a red over the middle pocket and the idea is to hit the white above center and knock the blue into the red and have all 3 balls end up in the same bag. I was much better at this than the pinks .

I agree with making problems for ourselves - I still do it as a player but not all the time!
Some pros count in their head at the table eg '1.2.3' along with each cue action...
That can help keep self 1 (Tim Gallwey's phrase) engaged so self 2 can play the shot.
Ok you got it!
msg me your address and you win the prize.....
you will get it posted upon launch....
Congratulations!
Sometimes, all one has to do is ask!
You may wanna give us later your opinion (Review) about this product .
If you have time of crs !!

I can't give it at a discount as I really want there to be 100% impartiality on behalf of buyers of both products.
So, you wouldn't be doing me a favour, rather doing snooker a favour by giving an impartial review of both in a side by side test.
The 30 bonus videos that come with it in the online area are a vital part of the product.
I am also considering adding another 50 videos on aiming and sighting as a further bonus for launch buyers of the product.Improving Your Game, From Every Angle: The Snooker Gym

50 video's on sighting and aiming - Jesus Christ Ni c - thought I could waffle on about snooker.
So you declined to have me review it for you alongside the sight right for a honest and true comparison and you have not shown it on here or told us how much it costs yet.
I am guessing this is because it is easily replicated for free as indeed are a lot of snooker training aids?
What you will no doubt say is that people are buying your inside knowledge on aiming and potting on these DVD's - which is fair enough - so again please now cut to the chase and tell us how much it costs where and when is it available - next Christmas at this rate. Please hurry up I have the wife's perfume n bags to buy.Last edited by Byrom; 15 November 2015, 01:24 PM.
