Good luck and good fortune with your tuca :-)
I paid my way through kindergarten by hustling pool. :-)

Kidding but was looking for a place to use that line.

Regarding this training aid, it is of course a nice twist on an old training method. Of course anyone can make a version themselves easily enough. But I admire a man willing to make a "commercial" version and put it out there.

When I was first learning I was told to take a piece of paper and use it to practice getting position. Then someone turned that idea into Target Pool and sold a bunch of sets.

And heaven knows the amount of ghost ball trainers out there. I think that in the billiard (and snooker) industry there is no shortage of well-meaning small entrepreneurs/inventors who create these devices not to get rich but only out a desire to see people improve as players. Of course they don't want to go broke either but I rarely see any of these that are blockbuster hits selling millions of units.

Context: Been in the billiard industry for 30 years, since I was 17 and that's true. :-)

You leave the guy alone Mr big shot and be nice - he's new to the forum and welcome here even though he speaks in a foreign language - who the hell are you or I to say anything about anyone's game - not many of us are pro and we are all here to learn. Personally if he made a bit of a living around snooker or pool for all these years then he must have done something right - gotta respect that yeah? Maybe a bit of professional jealousy is there Mr Big S ?

Lol. You know not of what you talk.

Poking barton with a sharp stick now and then is one of life's pleasures, and recommended to all.

Some people around here also follow AzB board and know most of your aliases there. You are trying to wind him up again. Please stop.

              Most? Rampant paranoia.

Anyway, I'm not winding him up, I'm poking him with a sharp stick, as i said.

I'm sure he has already read the forum rules about spamming the place up, so isn't planning on hanging around. Nobody around here is dumb enough to fall for CTE either, thankfully.

He's here because he's obsessed with little old moi, that's all. He'll be gone when he finds nothing. Sell, shill or stalk, that's Mr Barton.

I just watched the latest Ronnie O'Sullivan show and the close ups of his cue when demonstrating how to make a max showed that he doesn't come through straight, cues goes here there and everywhere after the strike. He would fail with your Tuca would he not ?

Not saying you're wrong, just that for some it's the timing of the strike that's most important, Alex Higgins also comes to mind, and Trump couldn't use it with his offset address and pivoting body movement.

It's not the whole story cueing straight, the TUCA has for me two other benifits just as good, 1 finding the centre of the cue ball as I mentioned before. 2 hitting the cue ball where you cue up to, having the three heights and cueing accurately through top hole without any dropping of the butt and the bottom hole without any dipping or dropping of the tip or butt. This means you will have a much better chance of hitting where you mean to on the cue ball ,even if you can cue poker straight hitting exactly where you want on that centre line up and down the white can make one hell of a difference. Just my thoughts on this gadget , I may well be wrong and it doesn't help with these but that's what I see in it.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

                        quite right.
look at the first three shots from ronnie here, watch each one from from start through to shot completion, whats happening to the cue? that mastery dosent just come from talent and hitting balls.
davis aint too bad eather, but i dont need to tell him about the training

No, no - you need to hit the ball

good to hear tofu. yes its not easy starting off, start slow with little shots and remember everything should feel relaxed.the cue should feel light and let it go from the elbow. if you need help just letme know
