Had one of my best snooker sessions in a while tonight, no big breaks, but things going wrong positionally instead of missing pots (and I potted a few that would've had the Crucible on their feet). I keep changing my technique every week though, it's annoying and probably a bit stupid. Both legs bent this week, I'm not that tall, just short of 6 foot, but foot in line kills my knee after a while and both knees bent seems to let me drop down on the shot straighter, and then cue straighter.

Start with the big one, start slowly just pushing the cue in and out, build up speed, then move on to the little one when you're ready. With the little one, I sort of pretend I'm actually taking a shot, flicking my eyes back and forth along the shot line and looking over the thing when I push the cue through. One thing to remember though, you can get away with a lot of elbow drop using this, that you won't get away with on an actual snooker table, because of the cushion, so keep it up high
