Brilliant video. Excellent explanation of a simple idea, that will definitely help me.

just wonder if he's using backhand side, front hand side, up your backside side, cte, sight right, sight wrong, aim frame, zimmer frame or a pivot system to counter the impact throw...

or perhaps he just picked his line, planted his foot, kept still and just hit the ball.

You guys are on the coaching forum too much. There is only one way to improve, and thats to get out there and bang you balls about.

                      +1

think a session or two with a coach to ensure there's nothing fundamental wrong, then lots of focussed, planned practice.

But what J6 posted is a pretty solid contribution though.

I'm amazed none of the 'coaches' haven't bitten yet. To slap and paste the lot of ya! They don't usually waste much time, as they can't help themselves. Lol.
Its nice to see people post constructive things on here without the intervention of some self-acclaimed snooker authority! I'm not trying to be offensive here...before anyone starts! I'm just pointing out the fact that not all forum members agree, advocate or welcome coaches thread/post responses.
                        Cheap and Cheerful! 😄

                            I agree.

Nice of J6 to take the time too.

Never used a coach but I am tempted out of curiosity.

the very worst thing that could happen is that you waste £20 and a hour of your time... you def sound as though you know what you're doing so you'd sniff a 'bad coach' out straight away.

He/she may spot a little technical flaw that could be holding you back. It's worth giving it a go.

Ehhhh I don't think so. I can make one of those gadgets myself if I need to , unless I get a freebie ...lol.

I think I'll stick to practicing and discovering the correct aim lines myself .

Trial and error that's the way to go
