My assertion is that it isn't alright for folks to go on a public forum and mock the product, and by association, its creator, whilst at the same time completely missing what it is designed to do and who it is aimed at, just because the 'mockers' happen to be beyond the development stage that the device is designed to facilitate.
Its designed to make money pure and simple,as my moniker implies i also am fond of golf and the same thing applies ,the main motive is to make money i have a set of clubs i played with ten years ago and they are just perfect.if you think a piece of card can improve your game then i suggest you contact j6 as that WILL improve your game and i dont think its £30

No. The 'mockers' just realise that the product won't help the people it is aimed at.

I think a lot of the mocking comes from the way the product was advertised. It doesn't sit well with people. It didn't take 4 years to create, and it absolutely will make the creator money. So people that have a good understanding of the game as well, use a bit of a sarcastic approach to their criticism because of the way it was presented to people.

After that last missed black for the 147 I think Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh will be placing his order this week.

          Made me laugh
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

            Ouch.
If the device would make his heart rate lower and arm calmer under extreme pressure, I'm sure he would order it.

I think the product is a decent practice tool for the beginner. It can give you a good idea on where to hit or approx hit a ball on that particular potting angle.. but what I am not able to understand is that why it took Nic 4 years to put few holes in an A4 sheet..Lol?

And the price of the product!! I believe Nic is charging what the price could have been 5 years back (when he started working on this piece of paper) plus the compound interest of that price for the next 5 years..Hehehe.
I Admire Ding, Adore Judd & Would do ANYTHING to play like Ronnie.

I think it will help anyone who is having trouble seeing angles, and I do like having a point of reference so I con see if I've gone through straight or not, although I find myself just concentrating on the aim ball without even paying any attention to the ball I'm about to pot, can't see that helping me when there isn't one there, but it might. Overall I can't say I would pay £30 for it, I realise Nic's spent a lot of money researching this and he needs to recoup these costs, but it is a piece of card with holes in it and lines on it. If I go to the club and start potting everything in sight I will retract that statement though, so you never know.
Who sent you the free copy - and have you watched the videos and done the tests in those videos (which form a major part of the value of the product).
Look not at the plastic it is produced from, nor the almost £20,000 I spent developing it, but at the value the player gets.

Sure - it is a new product so people may want to learn more about it.
At least it provokes lively discussion!

Can this be used in tournament play? I'm thinking of taking this to the next pro-am I play in. Help me make sure of every pot.
                          Certainly not.
The idea is to learn potting angles in practice, so that it is not such an issue in matches.

                            Benefits...

I am working out ways to simulate it and the closest you can get i have found so far is using the ghost ball method to get your line of aim and then use a string line to go directly over both the Cue ball and ghost ball ( Dead center ) all the way to the cushion and then place a small coin at the center point of where the string is making contact with the cushion.

If you Cue correctly and straight while aiming head on for the coin the pot success is 99% i have found so far in a few hours of practicing this way.

Aim frame is much easier though to use with the arrows i admit that and an awesome practical idea as you need 2 people at either ends of the string line to place the coin in the exact position and the ghost ball also has to be exact to.
Hi Chappy, its form is not as relevant as the benefit it brings.
(Also - don't look at the almost £20,000 it cost me to develop this product as that is also irrelevant to you)
There are also 30 bonus videos inside the online area which are more than the sale price alone.
It's benefit is what should be looked at:
'Confirm or correct your vision centre, eye movements, angle recognition, and cueing feedback... whatever your standard'

Of course, some people DO NOT and WILL NEVER need this product to improve their game as they have no issue with the above points - although it may give peace of mind to confirm this for a pro level player.
But those players are so far and few between at less than pro standard.
Bear in mind that this very simple device (devised specifically to be as simple as possible - and we IGNORED the opportunity to make it more complicated to add 'perceived value')
If you watch the videos on the info page here http://www.thesnookergym.com/aim-frame-page you will see that this ghost ball extension method will not work - especially once you get into the thinner angles and increase the distance to the pockets.

100% correct.... and there is a feedback mechanism which will help confirm if the cue delivery was perfect or not.
If it was not, knowing about it is the first step to improving it....
If the player struggles with their delivery, there are some suggestions on how to minimise that in the videos that come with the product on the online area...
