    Nice one
The balls look great on there
By the way the Aim Frame would work on that table
The table size is irrelevant - what is relevant is the ball size and that they are that standard 52.5mm sets.

      Nic

      Yep.

I only play with the 1G Set and while the full 15 Reds does get a bit crowded when they are opened playing with 10 is also cool.

Some photos here as it just got fully re clothed in Strachan 6811 30oz and Empire running rails fitted not long ago to and it plays like a dream, 3pce slate by one of Australias best table makers.

Exactly 79mm pockets at the throat and she is tight who spits out a lot of balls! My local club table (12ft) has bigger pockets than this!
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

      • Nic - i would think you stand a better chance of success by pitching this to the american pool market, as CIT etc are much bigger factors than in snooker, and americans in general have lousy fundamentals.

They are also much more receptive to new ideas and products.

I didn't do it in an overly salesy way - more opening relevant topics and being here to answer the threads.
If people find that useful great, if they don't then they don't have to read my posts.

It is not aimed at beginner or advanced.
It aims simply to 'Confirm or correct your vision centre, angle recognition, and straight cueing feedback.... whatever your standard'
I have seen regular 100 break players benefit from it, as well as beginners.

The concern you have about bad habits is worthwhile to respond to .... while the impression may well be given that this is how it works, it actually is not.
The simple online videos that come with the product explain exactly how that process works.

Would I have opened these posts if I didn't have a product to launch?
          No.
So I do hear what you are saying regarding 'the only reason he is on here is to flog something' -
maybe I will make some more general posts a bit more regularly to get and stay more involved.
The problem is that I don't always get email notifications - for example this forum that I started I got ZERO email notifications until someone told me I was getting slated yesterday! So I came on and responded.
That would make it much easier if I made a thread and got email notifications to them to that I can quickly reply.

Was it therefore wrong to make these posts and encourage discussion without being overly salesy?
          That is up to you.
But thankfully we do have free speech in this country, where this kind of thing is allowed ;-)

I cannot praise it enough as to how it plays as well and it is really a credit to Harry Evans who made it and his tables are worth a fortune with many 12ft tables he makes fetching over 15k here locally.

He has one 12 foot table in his showroom that he wants 50k for that it is magnificent and over 100 years old! That is how long he has been producing Snooker and Billiard tables here in Melbourne Australia with a reputation that is 2nd to none here currently, as the family business has gone through 3 generations of table makers and still very strong but very expensive.

Lots of people struggle on this 9 x 4.5 Snooker table of mine as it can be very hard to pot on especially the middle bags with pace as it will spit them out unless you are 100% accurate, but i love it!

Great for my kids to ( 6yo and 11yo ) to learn on and they spend more time on it than me!

              • Also to get back on topic i am wanting the Aim Frame to correctly set up for me a Pink off its spot with the Cue ball in the D from either the Yellow or Green spot.

This is very difficult and not easy with such a delicate cut and i am at less than 2-3/10 on average practicing this with the odd fluke session having me at 6/10 once but i have never repeated that! The aim frame setting up this exact angle would be invaluable IMO even if i need a string line to get the exact line of aim from the Aim frame itself back the the D where the Cue ball is for exact correct position.

What do you mean 79mm at the throat? Are you saying your pockets are 3.11" wide at the fall

They measure 79mm across at the point where the slate falls away underneath it or the point of drop.

Great looking table and set up but I think I'd struggle on those openings.

79mm or 3 and 1/4 inches is the world template or so i am told by my table maker as what they are meant to be!

Take it it with a grain of Salt ( as it is debated a lot nowadays ) if you will BUT this family has been making tables for over 100 years and have always made them to this world standard and still do today.

Well Nic there is something strange going on because the owner of this site told us this was a paid for advertisement , so I took that as truthful , but it looks like someone's got their wires crossed ,if it's me I apologise in advance.
I can only speak on my own behalf and for me I would love you to contribute more ,I dont think anyone would object to having one of the worlds top coaches helping.
You say we have freedom of speech ,unfortunately that has been proved false in this situation hasn't it ,as it has led to a well liked member receiving a ban, are you saying you didn't complain to the owner or any admin about any of the posts on this thread?
Lastly ,personally I applaud you trying to innovate new things and as I said before you are an extremely successful coach possibly the number one ,unfortunately knowing the British psych we do like to knock the top dog with a bit of humor, I don't think ( I certainly hope not) anything said was really meant as a personal insult to you, more a mixture of ribbing of the top dog that should be big enough to take it and fair opinion of what has been presented on here ,as you admit, unless you have seen the extra videos it is easy to mistake what this product actually does.
Maybe in the Christmas spirit or just as a nice gesture you could ask the owner to lift the ban on the member, and we could all learn something from this situation and move on.
Oh by the way welcome and merry Christmas 
Just checked Nic , if you go to information- a few forum changes- post number sixty, it clearly states these are paid for advertisements.

2 and half weeks of his ban left. Maybe 3

I measured the IBSF templates and they are 83mm and I have also measured the WPBSA templates (drawings) and they have the same width but a more generous undercut and fall. I believe the old B&SCC templates, before the IBSF, were at 85mm but could be wrong as have never had the chance to measure them except for drawings
