J6 i did some practice today with the 3/4 pinks and it worked well. the angle i was getting on the pink to the middle hitting high was slightly different to yours, finishing a bit higher than yours.

maybe as i said your shot seemed slightly stun run maybe , but the difference wasn't huge

its a shame you didnt get a video.
you may have got a different reaction if your on a steel block and fast cloth, then theres the pace cus i hit those quite firm, and also when i cue through the white my cue levels out on impact so, no stun on a run through but i'll get into that later.
how was it when you played center ball did you find the same place on the opposite cushion?

nice one j6, i love positional shots that move on the line of the next pot either closer or away instead of across it

yeah well you know, after years of trying to defy the table with unnecessary side, you realised it would be better to understand and work with the table

I can't watch these videos, I always get distracted going, that's a great cue action lol, then I have to watch it again.
Just to add, the ghost ball really helped thanks.
Sorry another question, if you stunned that pink in ( below centre if centre is 0 maybe -1/-2) could you come off the side Cush and hold for the pink into the bottom bag?

The last potted pink in part 3. Surely you played that with center high (punch run through) and not center or you would go in off the pink every time know??

yeah its surprising where center ball can take you, more of a stun would take you closer to the corner pocket. i'll get more into my experienses on the table around the pink in the next few.. but if other posters get something else out of the shots then it would be really good to stick up the video, no cgi

cheers itis, yeah i think youd stay in the scoring zone if you went lower on the white on that shot

i will upload a video how i played it once i get it on youtube, the ones to the middle pocket come slight higher on the black than you got, i think you may be right in that u hit them firmer which has a stun effect, although u hit above center

J6 looking at the Part 3 & 4 video, when you use the ghost ball to line up , it looks thinner than 3/4 ball more like half ball. it looks like the ghost ball is covering half the OB

it and depends on the camera angle you have, but to me they look thinner than 3/4. i will have to set this up and check it out myself

I thought the same on a few of the set ups that they looked thinner than 3/4 balls. If half way between pink and centre pocket is 3/4 ball and level with pink on cushion 1/4 ball then half way between these must be half ball but for me I think the reference to 3/4 is too far down the cushion. Got the aim frame coming so I'm sure this will confirm the angles.
                            Still great videos thanks j6
                            Cheers Ricky

I tried the 3/4 pink in the top today and kept going in off into the middle bag playing top, then I caught a couple sweetly and the cb went behind the red off the side and top cush as it should, so either I'm dipping my cue a bit and hitting the cb below where I cue up to ,not quite timing it right( felt a bit off all day) or it could be the light whites the club has don't react the same, or more than likely a bit of all, but I found this quite difficult today.
