I don't think I could play on a really fast table, is there a danger it can make you a bit tentative because it's so fast?
yeah maybe if youve arrived to an unknown table at 10am after being on the motorway for four hrs and just parted with fifty quid entrance fee.. but really, if i would of hit the ball the same way as i did in my vid on that table, my white would of felt another cushion on every shot. baddi's table plays lovely
Please don't take this as me being rude etc..I honestly don't mean this to come across as derogatory...but I honestly don't understand the point/reason of these videos....its probably me just missing the aim of the videos..sorry.

What I am picking up from these videos lennon11, is not so much the 1/2 or 3/4 ball element, more so where the white will travel and end up. This has been of considerable help to me.

Ah OK...can see how its of use from that point of view...just don't really ever get the idea of a shot being half ball/quarter ball etc...that would only account for an odd shot per frame...because all shots are of differing ratios...even just slightly.

Well I hope your right Bluenose because that's what I think they are about.

I must admit I'm with Lennon on this but Im thinking you've done these videos for those just starting out and new to the game.

and for you leo, now you know the difference between a 3/4 ball and a 1/2 pink. i may have saved you a match ball..
i think anyone can take something from these clips nothing wrong with knowing the table

Im not having a go, Personally I think you've got a lot of balls sticking a video up on the Internet and give you a lot of credit for it.

and i think you could do the same thing, come out and play, im sure many here would like to put a game to your words.
a 15red lineup why not? i mean youve worked so hard for the skills you have right?

I see you're point..... Just guess my learning was more subconscious and varied rather than the 1/2 ball,3/4 ball etc....maybe youre way is a faster way to learn??.... Proof in the pudding I guess.we will see.

i get it i was the same, so you know about some of this but youve never actually put your cue down to look at how the table works in the way its structured?
most players do'nt know where the CB gonna land just before they take the shot . They are uncertain about positional location of CB for the nex shot ,, which is the main reason whay they do'nt hit ( strike ) the CB with confident. they are afraid to strik the ball .
I think this thread is unique and useful. we never had a thread which gives you an idea about which direction the CB goes and where the CB gonna end up after the shot.
The more u know that, the more confident u get with striking the CB an ur cueing .
Anyway, just my opinion about this thread .
