I think this thread is unique and useful. we never had a thread which gives you an idea about which direction the CB goes and where the CB gonna end up after the shot.
The more u know that, the more confident u get with striking the CB an ur cueing .
Anyway, just my opinion about this thread .
+1 to Ramon, I think this is the most crucial, and is the reason why sometimes I am a bit tentative striking the cueball. Once i know where the cueball is going I seem to get through it more confidently. Great thread J6 keep it going

Sorry for being a little bit behind but there is the first point to look at. Quote "I wish I was as good as I think I am" This is the attitude I am missing and I am sure a lot of others are too. It's great to watch you strike the CB.

This is exactly why I am here. Ramon sent me here as I am now so tentative my cue ball just kind of flicks off the object ball. J6 is really opening my eyes to where the CB should go.

Three tables ago I had a 5x10 with Hainsworth Club Cloth, wood rails and I could strike the cue ball with power then the next two tables 6x12 with 6811, Northern Rubber steel block, brushed, blocked and ironed weekly. Cliff says I hit the cue ball like I am afraid I am going to break the cue ball. These videos are really opening my eyes. Keep them coming.

That's what I'm getting as well. I must admit that as soon as I picked up a cue I was looking to play with screw, stun and side.
My advice to Les Edwards and any new player is to learn the natural plain ball angles first, this thread will be invaluable for that, good one j6, keep it up.

First thing I was ever told at snooker was " tell the balls to go in ,don't ask them" .

I agree, I have hitting a few today 1/2 and 3/4 just below Center and watching the cue ball. Then trying to figure out where it is going next time. This is awesome stuff.

Another great quote. Hard to do when you get into a bad habit of wishing them in.
