do you ignore the science your doctor subscribes to when you are sick?

How about that those that propagate myths and falsehoods, or quote fat dave down the dog n duck? Should he be repeating those views?
thats exactly what you do, and who are these (peers)? and any quotes i make are my OWN that is why i am comfortable making them i dont need to search out others

I am repeating that these are not my views I simply accept the science and in practice once you understand it it all becomes clear and makes sense. It explains many things about why players with the most unorthodox technique still manage to get results, knowledge is power.

Who are you on 'the other place', then?
you sir are very condescending, you have no idea of the research and testing that even cue makers of the early years did, the very fact it took you a long long time speaks volumes

lol Many English cue makers still don't even know what deflection is.

Now that's a different ball game altogether lol, I must have missed that post. I agree you will get variation of hits from every cue even with the same specs. I thought it was shots played with the same cue.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

You're a muppet. Cue makers like MW have developed their own ferrules to correct throw. Deflection really is a pool boy term. Your pool sticks are stiff maple with a huge 3oz joint in the middle to ruin any feel the wood had left. What's you high break at snooker then, what are you qualifications in physics?

Of course they're not your views, you aren't a scientist, you have no qualifications in science or engineering! Did you know that 20% of research papers are made up, did you know that 30% of science papers turn out to be false positives/negatives? Did you know that most researchers make huge assumptions or as we say ceteris parabus, so they can reduce the explanatory factors to a few variables that can be modelled? Because they can't model every variable? And that's exactly what they can't do, model every variable that occurs in a snooker shot, so they reduce it to F, M and A for the simple folk. What they're explaning is probably only 50% of the truth.

only by finding out 20 years after Predator figured out what squirt is.
pray tell what the point of a high break cock measuring contest is, do you mean on video or hearsay?

Life is experiential, you can either play snooker or you can't. If you can you'll understand the importance of getting through the ball and the relevance of tips, chalk, grip, acceleration to the development of spin. If you're a pool boy wacker, there's really no hope.

And you still haven't elucidated your background in physics either.
