The available opening changes, that's why you can't pot a ball into the middle pocket while you're tight against the cushion on that side, it's impossible without playing a double. Therefore in some situations, the available pocket (which is what's important) is not bigger than the ball.

Ban Pottr for making forum members redundant.
Why are you so certain when he isn't ? Has what he says helped you in your game ? or is it simply finding a stick to bash me with seeing as I slate modern education that you're such a part of, and Parris cue buyers who have no intent to use them: it's fictitious BTW.
Oh and if members can post videos and swear verbally, put up a video and have a real go, no holds barred, go on, you know you want to.

He was also kind enough to go through my cueing technique and pointed out a few really helpful things which I'm trying out now.Last edited by itsnoteasy; 6 February 2016, 08:02 PM.This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

There are many of that kind of videos on youtube.
not saying it's a bad vid.
just wonder, what are you trying to prove here ?
And I need to prove nothing. Pottr says everything in the video.
Thanks xx#jeSuisMasterBlasterBarryWhite2v1977Luclex(andHisF ictiousTwin)BigSplash!

This video was already posted on other thread. If you want to show it again, that's fine.
But useing this video to talk about other members and vmax and insult them, was'nt a part of thread. did i miss sumthing ?
That's why i asked, what re you trying to prove here.
I know Vmax here on this forum and I read his posts for almost 2.5 years. his knowledge about this game is better than some of the best snooker coaches.
you may not agree with that. that's fine to know.
stay on the topic please so we can learn something here.

Great video!! Wish my dad had shown me the basics many moons ago.
Anyway, my 3 favourite quotes of this video:
1. "Right now, that's a straight shot. OK. You shouldn't be missing that. But all you are ever trying to do, even on an angle, is push the pissin' cue through straight."
2. "Fookin bollocks, they obviously just are not pushing the cue through straight. Doesn't matter if you got no eyes."
3. "he's come on leaps and bounds since I started pasting him, the little *******. Right, anyway, so what does AF lock mean?
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Awesome video mate. Thoroughly enjoyed that. This is why I have been improving at a rapid pace recently. I used to rush around the table, needing a wee or nearly home time. My fundamentals weren't being applied, it took too long.
Now that I've slowed down and concentrated on them, you're right. Most pots go in, without touching the sides
Nice one pottr

When he's talking about being able to move your elbow out what is he saying is correct? The first part where you can't move it or the second part where you can? It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head
