I used to watch Nic Bs videos and he would say as an example I'm cueing at height six on this shot, and I used to think ,well what difference does that make to me, I don't cue like you, Or play with your cue, and I'm playing on the slowest club cloth know to man. I always thought,It's ok as a general guide so you know he's playing above centre but you have to find your own hieght to get the desired reaction.This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

yes there are times when you might move a full tip outside the center, like maybe on the break-off. but its surprising how little you need, less is more
