It's nothing to do with this thread. Its just a long line of crud i see on a regular basis. So i'm opting out! I don't see a lot of use here for me personally. Coaching is useless! Outdated and sometimes ill advised. Except for glaringly obvious faults, which anyone who knows a bit about the game would also notice, without the need for a badge!
What skin is it off my nose? I read something that appeared offensive, so I made a remark. Like I said someone show me the delete button. I've obviously outgrown this place. ��

As for coaching, i was very much against it for years but have changed my mind.

Only a few are world champion standard. The rest of us need help, whether we like the idea or not. You may never miss, but i do, and I'd like to know why.

When I first saw the post I thought it was belittling. I didn't comment because I understand Terry seems to be having a hard time at the moment. That said, it's better not to comment than tarnish professional standards.

We need guys like yourself to add a balance to the place. You can back up your skill set, you don't just talk about it. Got to treat most the stuff on here now with pinch of salt, guys like yourself we can all actually learn from. Be a pity to lose a knowledgeable member, we've not got many!

Don't want to start an argument and I don't agree with everything INMB says ( cue ball sighting, not for me) but I would like to correct one thing, he has never ever said don't practice, I don't know where that's come from. He has said one hour a week of practice where you are really looking at what you are doing and fixing things and then taking note of what works and doesn't, is better than twenty hours just knocking the balls around, I think that's fair comment and a great bit of advice.
About the cue ball sighting, it's quite good he's here, as there will be a few that prefer to do that and he's probably one of the very few they could turn to ,to get advice, let's face it when someone says CB sighting the first reaction on here is DONT DO IT, change your ways, well INMB proves it can be done that way, although I do wish he would change his ways lol, I have no idea how you pot a long shot looking at the cue ball.

Played Jamie Cope today after work. Got a bit confused with what I was doing for the best part of the day. God knows how many frames we had, but he was flying and I hardly did a thing wrong. He had 4x 80+'s, 100 & 133 (should have had 3 tons consecutively were it not for a kick on the brown).
I won the odd frame though. 3 to be exact.

The highlights for me would be...2x pot reds from break. The last frame was a 52 from my own break!!! Yippeeee!!!!!

Yes new record. Eclipsed the old one by 4 points! I was mindful of what it could mean (having a ton from my own break against a main tour pro) so twitched the black! Position wasn't straight forward, which contributed slightly. Ended on a high, with added reassurance for next time I play. Quality over quantity.
I'd even be happy to not bring my cue, as I just love to watch how he goes about his business.

i aint feelin dis. thought that king was brought up by dell hill no? tha king has had lots of coaches. reardon taught him safety. if that king gets better from coachin its gonna be good for evone. tink davis and hendry had coaching as well. 3 most successful all had coachin. dissin coachin is foolishness

I managed a 30 break after potting a red like you do, think I put pressure on myself saying to my mate I'd clear. Yeah right lol.

Sounds like a great session of snooker, I've been tedisbill's fielder a few times now and it's great to watch!
