You mention 7 frames. Ok, I would expect to beat a significantly weaker opponent easily. It would be nice to score big, but 7:0 frame score in my favour is a priority. If I lose a few frames against much weaker guys, than that's disappointing, regardless of breaks scored.
I'm trying to build a solid all round game, with good safeties and everything. It isn't only about potting. Even if I'm playing the worst guy in the club, I try to play the right shot.
Agree with the above to an extent aceman. I made a 37 in the league last week that was a clearance, red, yellow, red, yellow, red, green then all the colours.
That clinched the frame and was better than any 50 i've ever made. Focus more on how you feel you played, not how many points you scored. I've played matches where i've hit the ball really well but barely made a break.
I guess what i'm trying to say is always take the positives, whether it be from matches or practice. Don't get hung up on breaks etc I cursed myself for years for being stuck on 99...it's not good for your head or your game

Couple of excellent post regarding the "numbers" there chaps, all too easy to get hung up on this and apply pressure to yourself for no reason. I have certainly been guilty of that lately, so am going to take heed and put to the very back of my noggin!

Funny how the higher breaks then happen when you do this.... : )

*Thanks Deano, you ain't bad for a mod (cough, spit, splutter).*
My friend, i see a bit tension in the past few posts. ( you and also few other members).
Tbh, i do'nt know what the hell happened and has anything to do with me or not . AND to be more honest with you, i do'nt care!!

But I consider it necessary to stright few things out here.
There are sometimes sum decisions has been taken in forum which may not be enjoyable for us. but, necessary for the good and sake of the forum.
Do i Always agree with those decisions? No, absolutly not.
Are those decisions always fair, all the time and every one of them? No, they are not.
Are these decisions a necessary step to keep the forum in form and enjoyable for the rest of the members? YES, absolutely.
God, knows, I'm guilty as you or any other to undrstand this. But that's the point. "I'm only a drop of water in the sea. nothing more.

Do'nt get me wrong bud, I'm not suggesting you gonna have to change and be sumone else. Neither do I.
Realy, i may get the 3rd ban on my aas just within next three weeks or even 3 days. Back to TSF Jail for another 10 years? It's possible.
But as long as we are here, we gonna have to accept all the good ones together with the bad ones.
There is no organization/company/or whatever, in the world which/who can privide a perfect system. TSF is no exception of this rule.

When i joined tsf few years ago, the coaching section was my favorite (and still is). I can remember I always went to read the posts from Vmax/J6/and Terry. I just saw them everywhere. Their threads/posts/disagreements/their jokes/excellent information and knowledge , also their sense of humor. You may not believe it, but I considered these three, as : Three Musketeers of TSF.
they were like a engine of coaching section., not to mantion sum of other greatness here, likes Hotpot.

And I have had sum nasty disagreement in the past few years whit every one of them (and sumtimes even fighting).
So, what's my point? There's plenty of room for disagreement/criticism on TSF. But there are also sum traditions which is built up in the past few years which has to be considerd as a major factor in order to make this place livable for everyone.
Showing Abit of Diplomacy maybe a good idea

Anyway, saying all of this, cuz to be honest, I had the chance to read few of your posts and honestly i think most of them are informative and useful. I can clearly see that you love snooker and are here to talk about it. I think if you give yourself abit more time to get to know sum of the members abit more, you gonna make ur stay here alot more enjoyable for yourself.

Haveing said that, we all break the rules sometimes. as i already mantioned, you may not see me here tomorrow ( Ban Nr 3 ?? ).

Anyway, I'm not a Mod neither the owner of this site. Nor i am in a position to tell you what to do. Just saying this as a friend and a fellow member.
Whether cosider it or not , Except to you.

BTW, Yes you can close the campaign. I appreciate your input and compliments. and i'm grateful.
I think any member who advocates good things for others, must be appreciated.

PS, Dear OP ( off the topic post ). sorry about that.

yes those clearances can be satisfying, i had one last week i was 24 behind with 35 on and i made a 31 clearance to clinch the frame , red green and all the colours.

but still those frames are few and far between.

Great great post Mr Ramon. Glad you understand these facts and not everyone in this world will agree with you, same as you, love you or adore you. We just got to live with them and further appreciate the better things and people around instead of contending over a little bone that might choke you to death. Hope you will exercise great refrain and discipline to make good contributions and help to other needy and more appreciativr audience, instead of focussing on rottn ones. Welcome back mate. Cheers

well...Not the best of nights if i'm honest. However the table was a bit on the slow side, not getting great splits on the reds in mid flow. So come the end of the night my breaks were 40's x4, 59 & 67 (missed pink and black for 80). This time last week when i last played i had an 88 clearance. Think i need to get back on the star table as the #10 on there really does assist you well. Altogether i'm happy with my consistency. Neglecting the fact that i'm hardly playing. Had my tip explode on me too! First time iv'e had that happen with a Kamui. New one ordered today. It won't be one of those new SNKR's as they are a pile of...

A star table with a no 10 cloth is a dream mate, the balls split effortlessly without the need to play the shot with too much power.
Are you playing county this year?

Hopefully. Having trouble dragging them away from pool tables! We have 16 players registered for us, but can't seem to find 8 for our fixture to Somerset. We have re-arranged the date to try to accommodate everyone. I don't see us being able to continue next year. Especially if things carry on like this. I want to beat my 118 the year before last.
