Can't see from the video because you are head on. When you get down and address the White , is your grip hand forward of the vertical position ?
The problem with the first video is that its a bit older and I improved alot since then. But I indeed have worked on my grip hand positioning and also my follow threw and timing.

I think one of my biggest challanges in snooker is the relaxation and emotional control. Iam a very emotional person that affects everything. As you mentioned the tightening of the grip hand, I sometimes have to remind myself of relaxing and calming down as I may get nervous on hard shots or in pressure situations. Thanks for your suggestions

A decent way to check if you have your cue on line is to get down along the baulk line, then put the butt end of your cue down and stand up and see if it's running exactly along the line. Or you can make a home made sight rite gadget, this should be handy to see if what you think is on line is in fact online, they are not hard to make , should look something like this when done.

I will try this out tomorrow. I saw a video from Barry Stark where he mentioned this method, I just forgot to do it . That device you mentioned doesnt look to complicated to make oneself even when Iam not a craftsmen . Thanks alot :encouragement:

Try purposely putting the cue on the line of aim, like almost laying it on the table, then keeping it there as you drop down on to it, might help.

The thing is, if my aiming/sighting is causing the issue, I wouldn't know how to fix that. Could this also result from having a too short back swing? I realized I'm not going through the ball enough (my rest arm is completely straight as well). Is it worth a try to have my arm bent to ensure a better follow through?

My friend, To fix the problem, first you gonna have to find out what the problem IS.

The best way is to visit a coach. If you can'nt do that, then you gonna have to make a video from a side. This way other members can see your stance, grip, delivery, and so on, and help you out .

Deliver the cue off the line can be caused by diff errors. (like body movement, Not keeping your cueing shoulder as low as possible and......).
You already had sum great posts here , but from your video it's very hard to tell what exact the problem is , imo.

Also take a look at Post NR 11 , in this thread . This can help you to find out wether you cue in a stright line or not .

Yes I do agree on your point. It is part of the reason for my thread. I tried out so much that which gets me confused and mixed up. I can't get consistent practice when I keep changing stuff, that's what makes it so frustrating. Unfortunately in Austria there is little to no chance of getting a training session . I will try my best to get some nice video footage. Thank you all guys fot your time and effort, really appreciate it

some practice sessions with Dominik Scheruebl can do no harm!!:snooker:

The less you think, the better you play.
Try to keep it simple and find a technique which you're most comfortable with.
The main thing : try to learn Or correct, One thing at the time.

Put your Vid my friend , many members here to help you out .

I contacted 'The 15 reds' some while ago but they only give a course once in a year. And i just missed it when I asked them :/. Yeah you are totally right, its just hard to focus on only one thing at a time when doing alot wrong . But what always has been true for me was 'doing good = cueing good'

If you're in Vienna you can try the HSEBC http://hsebc.at/ seems they have training most weeks and they're a friendly bunch, you can contact them through facebook.

                        Hey guys,

I happily report the solution of my biggest flaw. It was also due to all of your suggestions that made me overcome this.

Before posting on TSF, my mind was totally occupied by the believe my cueing action is causing me to miss over and over again. It was over a month now of trying an experimenting on my cueing. I got very frustrated and had a bad mood in my play.

I now tried to approach my problem in another way. Someone mentioned my way of getting into my shot and stance. I tried to line up my body perfectly (something I wasn't thinking of in the past). I tried to line up my back foot on point. Adittionaly I was focusing on not to move my cue at all when it was in the final position and to calmly put my body onto it.

I played like this today and had great success. A 50 break at one point.

I thank all of you for sharing your experience with me. Cheers
