We are often taught to push the cue through. But something that crossed my mind whilst playing.
When you push through the shot, your elbow bends and as you pull back your elbow extends.
The question is, when pushing through, do you drive that motion of pushing through from your wrists I.e. your wrist is causing your elbows to bend, or do you drive it through the elbow I.e you are focusing on your joint to create the same effect.
I hope this is clear but it's something I'm quite interested in. I noticed when I cue through the ball I have a tendency to feel the forces more through my wrists and played around with creating this motion more so through my elbows.
