Just been watching the clips of Del Hill on Youtube showing the "drive" and wondered is this used on top spin shots? I'm thinking the butt of the cue would have to be raised quite high, and would the bridge hand be able to be high enough to ensure a parallel delivery through the cue ball?

I also tried the Dell Hill "point the toes to the pocket" stance and could not hold that for several strokes without my knees hurting. So I stopped that c*** as well.
Be comfortable at the table and in your stance, not contort yourself into agony.
That was the worst waste of money for a Dell Hill trained coach session.Up the TSF! :snooker:

Out of interest, did Dell Hill teach Ronnie this elbow drop/ drive style, or did he see that Ronnie did it naturally and built a coaching career around one players idiosyncrasies? This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
