thats fair, i was closed to what you were saying early on in the thread but then as your posts got heavier and longer though i skimmed them i was starting to see this stuff the way you visualize the game and then my perfect peace kicked in..

No, that isn't fair. Some people see pixies at the bottom of the garden but they aren't really there. Terry is free to believe what he wants but when he presents myths and half truths as facts, that crosses the line.

Good point. Perhaps Terry and vmax can tell me what commentators are referring to when they say phrases like "he used side to turn the red over" or "he used side to straighten the red".

So boys, what are they actually referring to here?

I realise the physics side of things is terrible inconvenient to you, and largely discovered in ghastly countries like France and the USA, but these phrases are regularly uttered by good old British people, many of whom are former world champions.

Discovered after the match my Elk Master had gone spongy so no wonder I was missing my long pots. Been replaced now with an ADR147 tip but have to shape it this evening and try it out. Life has been so peaceful since I started ignoring some people on here.

its just one shot so forget about it, old news. but do look into getting your new channel going if your able to. much better than these endless thread posts.. something that puts across your approach to the game passed and present, maybe some match strategy in there too.

and snooker player is lost without a nice tip on his cue end so get that sorted asap.

I appreciate your comments (including snari here) myself and Jason (j6uk) have been discussing me doing just that however in the past few day filled with harassment, ridicule, insults and just pure trash talk I'm not willing to put myself out there for Hello Mr. Big Shot and his crew. Just from the videos I posted the resident 'experts' on here poked holes in my technique regarding grip, speed of backswing, speed of delivery and many other things. For some reason some people expect me to be perfect and as good a player as Ronnie but that I am certain I'm not.

I just watched a Barry Stark video (a fine coach) and he missed one of his shots and no one said a word but when I miscued twice trying a maximum power shot I get slated even though I successfully did the shot. I seems potting a long blue and screwing back into the yellow pocket is not considered a shot worth mentioning whereas potting a partially obstructed ball is considered amazing!

I agree, Tel. Just thought I would still say that the vids were great and that you really are a ""watchable character"" with that funny sense of humour. A true no BS natural..

It was being called 'monumentally stupid' and an incompetent player that finally got to me. I don't like being harassed and insulted by people who don't even play snooker (despite what Travis says about himself).
