Cueing long blues

Anyone any idea what this problem is when practicing blues from the bulk yellow side I will pot say 6 out 10 the ones I miss are always to the Left of the pocket.
Iam I cueing across from left to right.
Or putting left hand side on the ball and pushing the cue ball out to the right.
All played at a medium to firm pace.

Sounds as if your pretty decent at this already with a little adjustment you should be jawing the ones you miss and over that range 6-7 out of 10 and 3 on the jaws I would be happy with.

As for what your doing wrong yeah your obviously cueing across the ball I was doing this and it was my timing and no rear pause that fixed my game I would advise seeing a good coach to figure out what it is wrong in your action

Play it with Top Spin and try to get the White ball to follow the Blue in after it but make sure the balls are dead straight.

If you pot the Blue and the White misses to one side it usually tells you which way you are cuing across the Cue ball, it is a hard shot to do and you need to Cue dead straight or else the White will not follow it in.

Anything greater than 5/10 is fantastic going and this is my favourite practice routine when warming up.

Id say you alrdy know the problem, sounds like a touch of left side is pushing the cue ball to the right causing you to miss ob left of the pocket.

You are cueing right-to-left but the reason could be anything. Either video yourself and try and sort it out or see a good coach.

My problem with these is tension and movement on the shot sometimes. Confirmed by a coach.
I know exactly what needs to be done, however, there's no such thing as instant success. Therefore, thousands of fired shots needed to make coaches advices second nature.
