You see the line from above, drop onto the line, and then you are just looking (CB to OB)

Spend the time, freeing the cue action, holding the whole shot (potting angle, pace, and how the shot should feel) in your mind, and pull the trigger when you feel ready

This of course is timing !!!!
This bit, is sometimes very easy and sometimes very difficult though.

Don't thank me unless/until it works, and if/when it does/doesn't then tell everyone.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Golden tips. Now I am thinking all the twitches I did sometimes may have been caused by my head sideways movement. I was confused why sometimes dropping hips worked well but sometimes didn't. Now I realise my head wasn't not still enough so it was brought to side ways as it moves stiffly as my upper body lean left(I am right handed). It changed my sighting !
That's why 'keep still' is so important.

Nic Barrow on one of his live shows, show 3 I think it is talks about just getting down and focusing on the cue ball. He reckons peripheral potting will help to improve your angles etc.

          Try it.

I was most surprised when I tried it, and then once you can focus on aiming where you want to aim on the white, you can then go for focusing on the OB!

To be honest, practicing on aiming the tip where you want on the white is a good idea.

Have you also tried the snooker secrets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Back of the OB technique as well? Works well for me!
