Good snooker books?

i read somewhere on here that stephen hendry masterclass was a good book and i can find it too its abit pricey are there any other good snooker books that help with potting, breakbuilding,saftey and the mental side of the game

There's loads of them. Do a search on ebay for some bargains.

I bought Steve Davis's Lett's Guide and Jimmy White's Master Class when i was first learning the game in the eighties. Both very good and instructive in different ways. But both about 20 years old now. Not that age matters in these things. Joe Davis's Master Guide (if there is one) might be just as good as a brand new one by Shaun Murphy or whoever has put their name to the latest one.

I have read Jimmy White's Masterclass,
Steve Davis' (can't rem the title, but it was written when he is younger and have a headful of hair!)
Stephen Hendry's Masterclass
John Spencer's (can't remember the title either).

All have their strengths, but I would prefer Jimmy White's Masterclass (written by Charles Poole). J. Spencer's has a section on "Anatomy of A Century Break" where by he describe how he ton a frame.
