unwanted right english

okay i read about dominant eye and found out i got a right eye more dominant so i put the cue over my right eye. now i tried the practice drills and notice i constantly put right spin! now is this due to my eye is now placed over my right eye than my chin if so is it better to go back or place the cue back under the chin? i have tried getting use to the cue over the eye for 3-4 weeks but i still put side english. any suggestions

keep hitting the white up and down from the brown spot over the blue, pink and black spots until it comes back dead straight....

Start off with hitting softly and then use more pace when it start coming back on line.

your dominant eye is just that,....... your dominant eye, thats all, it wont make you play any better.

If you were cueing well before why change it?

totally agre with mellow yellow, if you technique served you wel beforehand, there is no need to change it. Your mind can do great things, you may be right eye dominant, but your brain is working out the shot so you play it correct. As i tell everyone, you dont need the perfect technique to be good at snooker, you just have to be determined and consistent.

Stick with what you was doing before you changed, if you still aint hapy, i recommend seeing a coach - just stick at it though

yea the hitting the cue down the spots was what i was doing to determind i was consistantly putting right english. the thing is i use to play pool alot before but i been trying to adapt my style to play snooker so i changed my stance kept my head lower, paused on the backswing and changed cue to dominant eye. now i now my old style was wrong so i changed them just now i had the unwanted english. so to clarify even though i'm right eye dominant if i am putting english on its better to cue from my chin if i get a straight shot? thanks again!

Correct mate, i know this coz i did exactly the same thing and i didn't work so i switched back from right eye to chin.

sweeet! yea thanks for advice, i was just worried as i know form playing pool i had alot of bad habits so wanted to fix them all but i guess this is one exception to that rule!
