The price which indicated at 440 pounds is for the ultimate cue without any decoration.
Of course there are cheaper cues in his store.
Decoration is something extra we all know that.
If I was to decorate my cue with X splices of wood, or X veneers or even have my name embroided then the price would go high.
These are different issues.
In any case we are talking about the leading maker to make you his best cue from his best wood selection, guarantee the craftsmanship with his leading name <-- you are obviously going to pay for all that!
However,
No ultimate cue in the Parris store costs 750 pounds.
This was a completely false statement.
You can check on his website.
Simple enough.
The point I was trying to make is the unfairness in certain posts.
Finally, I NEVER EXPRESSED the view that Parris cues are cheap and I do not argue that you can buy one from another maker (not the leading name) for less money.
Whether you will pay VAT or not is a whole different issue.
My 15 years of experience and the fact that I have knocked in centuries with ordinary cues, and with the most expensive ones, show me that the talent is in the player not in the cue.
Enjoy your snooker :-)
