  • Isn't this a scenario where you need either a camera or another person??

    • I found a mirror helpful at one point and, a mate to spot with before sparing.
I just do it now on my lone for 10-15 before getting down to practice. I start slowly, imagining shots in real time play, then I'd build up to power shots. I call it s,m,L,XL. After 5-10min I'm bang on that line, ready to go and itching to pot some balls

no contradiction, all i was saying is the most important aspect is that the head/nose is on the line of aim. the feet can be anywhere that allows you to achieve this, be it on the line or not

Yep, as long as feet/head/nose/bridge/cue/action are all consistent.

There are lots of posts on this. I think Terry has commented on this a lot too. It's just when the head is on line we use both eyes to get a clear field of the depth to the target both eyes will come to a point which is central and therfore it will align with the nose too. So when u get down it should be the same. I find when I get this right I can see the pot more clearly. The trick for me is getting down right
