Frank Callans Snooker Book

A few months ago I was reading a post of this forum and read that Frank Callans Snooker coaching book was one of the best coaching books ever written so I have kept my eyes open for a copy.

Last week I decided to look on ebay and to my suprise found three copies all on auction so I decided to bid and to my delight 'won' one of them at around £16 plus £2 postage. The other two went for £20 and £18. I also noticed that one went the week before for about £6 and had a couple of autographs in it so someone got a bargain!

I just wanted to let other snooker forum members know that ebay is a good place to look for this book. There are 7 copies on Amazon at the moment but the prices there are £21.75, £34.99, £37.75 and four at £50!! The one at £21 looks like a bargain!!

I got my 'like brand new' copy of Frank Callans book from a charity shop for £2.00

And NO it's not for sale.

Let's just say i was 'slightly pleased' with my purchase :snooker: lol.

I have to say, after reading most of the coaching book that have been around for the past 50 or so years the Frank Callan book rates tops. Any player looking for a really good book to get thier game started PLEASE READ this book.

This website do present some of the book topics, but nothing compares to the hard copy which I got from Amazon 3 years ago for 20 quid
