I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND A GREAT SNOOKER COACH I MET A FEW YEARS BACK AND STILL VISIT OCCASIONALLY. HIS NAME IS REG DAVIES, HE IS A VERY EXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL COACH AND ALSO A CLASS 1 REFEREE.

REG HAS AN ABSOLUTE WEALTH OF SNOOKER KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW HOW. HE HAS COACHED MANY, MANY PRO'S MARK WILLIAMS, MICHAEL JUDGE, NIGEL BOND, PAUL HUNTER, JIMMY MICHIE, JOE SWAIL AND COUNTLESS OTHERS.

REG IS BASED IN THE FAILSWORTH/NEW MOSTON AREA OF MANCHESTER AND IS WELL WORTH A VISIT. HE STILL COACHES INTERNATIONALLY AND IS SOMETIMES IN EUROPE AND ALSO THE FAR EAST, BUT I KNOW HE IS IN THE UK FOR MOST OF THE YEAR.

Yes, Reg Uses A Video Camera.

It's A Great Way To Be Shown The Faults That You May Have I.e. Stance, Grip, Bridge And One Reg Helped Me Iron Out With "the Position Of The Backhand" On The Cue - Making Sure You Can Create The Pendulum Motion. This Is Vital In Creating The Pendulum Swing Action - Vital For Smooth And Even Cueing.

I had a 2 hour lesson off him and he was very good.

I sorted out my cue action and stance.

As soon as I get some more money I will defo use him again

Hi there, Reg now coachs at Swinton Leisure Centre, Wellington Rd, Swinton, M27 4BR, were we have started a Junior Coaching Acadamy on a Saturday Morning 11.00 till 1.00 for 7 to 16 yr olds.

He also does personal coaching were besides his resonable coaching fee we give discounted table rates to makes it more affordable for yourselves.

Swinton L.C. & the Junior Snooker Academy

Hi dave,

i was invited by reg to visit swinton leisure centre to view the junior snooker academy recently.

I called in on october 29th 2009, a few days prior to nigel bond attending and giving his mass approval and recommendations ........ I also can vouch for the suitability of the leisure centre ......... It is an excellent fully equipped centre .......very friendly staff ....... A very keen bunch of youngters ....... And with someone as dedicated as reg involved .....it is clearly a winner.

I noticed a cracking young player too ......kayden who is just seven .......very promising lad ......... He will do very well with reg's tuition i believe.

I would like to thank you and the excellent swinton leisure centre for the hospitality that was afforded to me on my day visit there ........ And can wholeheartly recommend the venue as an excellent centre ...... And the sterling work that is going on with your junior snooker academy is most valueable ...... Not just for snooker at grass roots level .........but also for the benefit of the swinton / salford community.
