which CUE

I have a cue i used to play with 20yrs ago i used to make regular 50 & 60's with it in practice and local comps
now after 20 yrs i have started playing again,But the cue has been shortened by 2" to 55" by my friend who i gave it to.
Now i can still play pretty good with it because it feels like it belongs in my hand even now but on certain extreme power shots and long pots/safety i'am struggling with it due to lack of length and correct stance.
Yesterday my good friend sent me a full length cue which he says is a good cue he used a few years back

Does anyone have real experiance of changing cue's after years off or for that matter at all

I changed cue but under very different circustances.

You can only try the cue of your mates and see.
~Otherwise maybe try and get something with similar weight, balance, butt diameter etc to what your old cue was. You could work that out from the shortened cue.

What knid of cues are they both?
