  • Snooker Half Ball Shot Diagrams

    Asked for on occasion but not managed to find these elsewhere on the net so here you go, taken from Jack Karnehm's 'Understanding Billiards and Snooker' from the early 80s.

    Need to remember to take into account cut induced throw for slow rolls and stuns as per Dr. Dave's article here https://billiards.colostate.edu/tutorial/throw

    Hope they help, various discussions / barneys about their use in practice to be found elsewhere...

    Worth noting the natural angle in-offs from the half ball pink as well as the pot.

      next time I play I will ensure I am precisely 23" down from the middle pockets
      now, is that 23" measured from the centre of the pocket or the start of the fall?

        ...which someone had to learn the hard way by potting the pink and losing the frame with that six point foul...
