I always enjoy playing a long blue of it's spot, it doesn' matter if it's straight shot or not, but a long blue when it hits the pocket right in the heart... music to my ears!

I'm down the club tomorrow afternoon Mick . What are the tables running like at the moment now that you've had a week to work on them ?

I've got more chance of splitting my trousers at the moment ! Need to practice tomorrow , league matches on Monday and Tuesday . It's about time to do my TW cue some justice , 46 H/B in a match at the moment .[and practice come to think off it ]
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Frame ball pots, especially if they're a tough long pot, nothing beats the sound of it going in the pocket!

Another favourite of mine is potting a red where I have to force it through the pack to stay on the black, love them when they work!

Also like playing shots that the cue bal and object ball are very close together but the pocket is far away! awsome shots!

I love playing the baulk colours with power and lots of topspin to run up and down the table back to the reds
The sound of the ball smashing againt the jaws, bouncing off the table and rolling across the room really is amazing!

                Favourite shots!

Mine would have to be a half ball black with right hand side to come off 2 cushions and in between yellow and brown, ready to take the yellow for a colours clearance.

Or blue to black clearance, potting the half ball blue with bottom right so it arcs with reverse side off 2 cushions flicking it up for the pink.

Or cutting the re-spotted black in! I love that!:snooker: :snooker: :snooker:
                Cheap and Cheerful! 😄

Generally speaking I like to play good positional shots. To get the pot is one thing, but it pleases me to see the cueball going where I wanted it to (even if I missed the pot).

Also I'm into difficult shots with the rest/spider, doubles and plants.
Ten reds and not a colour...

Same, long pots to nothing behind the back of the black are my speciality

                      I LOL'd

But really, you're either hitting them too hard, jabbing at them, or are just wacking them into the jaws

yeh same here...i prefer them straight though.
but my fav shot has to be red to middle with reverse side+screw to get on the black
If practice makes perfect, and no one's perfect, then why practice?

Cheers for the advice, but the last bit was actually just a joke... Im quite good at that shot, and u dont need to play it all that hard to generate enough topspin to get round. my cue is fairly heavy and my timing is pretty good

Hehe yeh I wasn't sure if it was just a joke or not, so I just offered my advice regardless

Ya, I really like playing that shot too. A lot of satisfaction if you land on a red down in the black area

I prefer arcing from green or yellow back down with screw though

Favourite pot would be a long blue off its spot. Don't know why but I love this one!
