Hi Dziki,
Welcome to the forum.
The best academies are Dell Hill's Farmhttp://delcoachessnooker.com/default.aspx and Terry Griffith Matchroomshttp://www.terrygriffithsmatchroom.co.uk/
There are others like The Snooker Gym and The Snooker Academy at Sheffield. It would be interesting to see what peoples experiences are of all these places.
Depends on what you can afford. In this game to improve your level getting the best coaching is a good idea.Breaks 2010- 47, 40, 56, 53, 47, 45, 46

I am looking for the 'best' facility for coaching to improve my game.
Have you been to any of the Academies that you are suggesting?
If so what was your opinion of them?
Regards

You asked about my experience at the Academy in Sheffield, well The Snooker Academy, in my experience so far, does not have adequate infrastructure to cater for all needs. I was speaking to one of the coaches today at The Academy (Gary Baldry), and he tells me they just can't get enough coaches for the weekends and these sessions only happen every now and again. He also told me he only coaches kids during the weekends and has no time to offer for adults, except Liang Wenbo who he says he escorts/coaches. Infact he said he was going to China with him for The China Open( I found this funny as when I spoke to Liang the other week he said he did not qualify for the China Open), maybe he was thinking of some other Chinese player. Either way in my experience its pot luck what coaching you get there.
Having said all this, I have another coaching session booked there with The Great Alan Trigg, who is a difficult man to get a hold of as he is away a lot of the times teaching.Breaks 2010- 47, 40, 56, 53, 47, 45, 46

It was £12 an hour when I checked with him in February this year. This includes time on the table as well, so no extra cost.
At that price not much to lose.Breaks 2010- 47, 40, 56, 53, 47, 45, 46
