    Richards hits top spot

WELSH wizard Chris Richards conjured up a remarkable recovery to claim success on the second leg of the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Gold Tour.

Thanks for all the info, Tim.
There's always at least one new Welsh wizard out there, I'm sure of that.
I'd like to know more about the structure of these events> for example are the gold, silver and bronze categories rank determined or conventional event names?

Until the start of the 2009/10 season, Cuestars employed a handicap system.

Then it all changed. All tournaments are now played off scratch.

The under-21s are split into three categories. The Bronze Tour is for players whose highest break is less than 40. The Silver Tour is for players whose highest break is between 40 and 60. And players whose high break is 60 or more compete on the Gold Tour.

Players from all three tournaments who do not qualify for the knockouts are entered into one Plate competition, again off scratch.

Thank you very much for that, Tim. Just one more question> is there a site where I could find more about these young players (also other things like the roll of honour and the calendar of these events)?
        Thanks again.
