  • 12ft Table Id help

Hi, I am trying to find more information on my snooker table. I am in Australia and have been directed here to ask for help.
My understanding is B. Winston did a refurb and dug out the original name plate. I have contacted Alcock and Herion & Smith. They suspect it has been imported from England as they have no records on it. The person I got the table from believe it to be built in 1840-1850. Any help or leads would be appreciated. I have added a link to pictures but this is my first time doing this so if the link doesnt work please let me know

Looking at that thin leg design and the top plate pocket fitting 1840 1900 ;would be about right ,Thurston or John Bennett tables were very similar in this design at this period ,Wight and co also made these type of tables .Any numbers stamped on the inner frame ?

Looks like it could be a George Edwards table, very similar to some of his tables which were sold via John Bennet. As Mikee says Geoff Large would probably have seen a few and would be better placed to confirm. Try and email him via his site GCL billiards.
