  • Quick hello

Evening all. Not sure why I’ve not registered on here before now. But glad to be here

Was mad about snooker as a child. Before I could even walk according to my parents 😅. May have had something to do with being born in the absolute height of the snooker boom (early 1985) and it being on most peoples TV’s back then.

Continued to love the game until my teenage years where my interests shifted elsewhere…

Got back into watching again about 5 or 6 years ago and started to play again occasionally at my old club in Rainham, Kent.

Soon to be moving house and the most exiting part… building my very own snooker room in the garden. Will be a huge project next year and really looking forward to it. 😎

Hope everyone is well. I’m sure I’ll be frequenting this forum from now on and looking for help sourcing my very own table next year when the time comes 😎

Welcome and have a look around on TSF as there have been several "build own potting sheds" that you can maybe glean ideas from

I’ll still be visiting my club, but having the ability to play on a proper table from home whenever you fancy will be pretty dreamy. And can only benefit my game 😎
            Thanks for the welcome 🙏🏼

Thanks very much. I came across them yesterday actually. Struggling to see photos on the posts though, which is a little annoying.
There are a couple people that have done similar on a FB page called “garden shed, pubs and nightclubs UK”.

I’ve always been a car nut, but choosing to sell my beloved “toy” car in order to build my dream snooker room. Will start a thread and document the process once I start next year providing all goes to plan 🤓

most have the images on display, some do have links though, if you have any issues let me know which thread, post you are having issues with and I can check, and maybe have a change of your settings....

"toy car" - begs the question.... what was it?
