Hi all, I’ve been dipping in and out of cue making for years and in the new year I have a nice workshop to get started and kitted out.

I’m looking for contacts or any help in sourcing some crappy blank shafts to practice some splicing on a 1 piece blank.

Get yourself some broom handles, round about the same diameter and you can have a practise on both ends.

Hi , I actually did that some years bk to get used to using a hand plane, but on a serious note I would like to try on a blank cue shaft so I can maybe get something to show for it at the end. I used to do some spicing few years bk so possibly past the broom handle stages,but if I find an ice handle why not !
