Hello from Gloucestershire

Hi all, I’ve been lurking the forums for several months now. I thought I’d finally sign up and post - if all of us lurkers did the same we might be able to get a bit more action and more new posts for us all to read haha!

I’ve enjoyed playing snooker for many years, but until very recently I’d typically play maybe 6 times/year and it was very much a social thing. This year I’m very finally started taking it more seriously, I play 3 times/week including some solo and weekly coaching, so hoping to improve a little if I can keep it up.

My highest break was 33 for 20 years but it’s now 39, and the frequency of 20+ breaks is creeping up a bit now so all good hopefully.

Anyway, love the forum, it’s been really useful!

That's cool mate! Never be frightened to post, keep up the practice and don't worry about posting massive improvements! Great to hear someone is enjoying the game as a hobby and trying to improve.

Many here will try and help with advice when needed. Enjoy the challenges.

Welcome!! Hopefully some of us can get a bit of chat going - I’m reluctant to reply to many of the older posts lol. Plus when I tried the other day my phone did weird things and it posted twice 😂

why do you love it now more than ever out of interest? For me it’s a combination of finally playing a few times/week plus having Eurosport to make it far easier to follow the whole season!
