New member - anyone going to the Crucible SFs?

Hi all. I'm a Brit but spend most of my time in South Australia these days. Used to play quite a bit at a good amateur level but mostly a spectator these days. Had a couple of days' tickets to the Crucible last year along with my teen son (who isn't interested in snooker in the slightest but went along to tick it off the list and keep his dad happy).

I'll be back over in Apr/May and have a ticket for the world semi-final on the Thurs/Fri. As this time I'll be alone, wondering if there's a group I can tag along with or any members who'll be in Sheffield who fancy a pint?

Welcome mate. There’s a pub just off the square close to The Crucible where a lot of the snooker fans go for a pint. Good place to meet people. Couple of pool tables.

Thanks Nifty. Last year I pretty much stayed in the venue except to go back to the hotel. Perhaps this year I'll try the pub.

It’s called The Graduate. Top left of square as you exit The Crucible.
