evening all, registered myself a few days ago, been playing 25 years, but only seriously for the last 8, prior to 8 years ago i'd had 5 50+ breaks in 17 years, i can remember how many cos they were so infrequent. Have had well over 200 50+ breaks since but currently stuck on a best break of 99 (been stuck on there for the last 2.5 years actually 
) still, the next best thing to a 100!!!
had a 96 a few weeks back, 1 red left on table, had to pot the black to free the red from pink, made the pot, left the white touching the red!! frustrating admittedly, but it was nice to have made every pot that was available, as many of you know good chances are often missed through tension / pressure.
i'm 40 later in the year, i can think of nothing better than reach both landmarks within the next 6 months. working hard at it, i'm achieving a fair level of consistency in my game at moment, in terms of 20s and 30s so providing i can up my average standard hopefully my peak game will rise accordingly.
be good to hear from fellow players of all abilities who share / shared similiar frustrations, maybe enable to get that extra few percent i'm missing to my game
