Hi Paul, welcome - glad you joined.

"how do I gauge the potting angle"..... there's hope, it gets easier the more you try; there's always balls you won't pot but even the easiest ones will show you something useful. Stay positive, it's not an easy game, but the more you can practice, the better you'll feel.

How did you find the site BTW? Are you thinking of joining a team or is it a happy band of mates just enjoying yourselves socially?
