  • Hello from Barcelona

Hi, I just registered a couple of days ago.

I'm from Barcelona, Spain and I used to play pool a lot, I even started competing in local leagues, etc... After some years having the cue sleeping nicely on the case, I joined back my club to be surprised by the fact that they had bought 2 snooker tables (there is a third coming on). Now, I must confess, I'm just addicted.

So I joined the forum to learn , to laugh and in particular, to look after cues :snooker:

    See you!

Well, yes, I play in one and hire the other 2 No actually the club where I play replaced 2 billiards tables for 2 snooker tables and if the 3rd is not there now, is on its way because many people is playing.

Great to see some spanish faces here, Our family has a small apartment in Almeria which we visit 2/3 times a year its beautiful. Snookers never been big out there more into bikes are the young boys but is it becoming more popular?

                              Welcome to the forum

and it just shows how much snooker is actually growing that Spain hardly a snooker hotbed is getting snooker tables installed in clubs.

theres so much doom and gloom regarding snooker but is it actually as bad as its been portrayed ?
